Human Rights Watch Mariupol Microsite
Human Rights Watch launched a microsite focused on the Russian siege of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol in March of 2022 with the goal of sharing research, data & geographic visualizations and drawing attention to wartime atrocities that occurred during the conflict.
We partnered with Human Rights Watch to help align stakeholders, establish a vision for the microsite, define the information architecture, and provide designs that fit within Human Rights Watch’s brand guidelines but also create a compelling microsite and narrative around the research and documentary assets. I worked on the website templates considering the interactions with geo maps, videos, and infographics.
